As you enter Brinchang and coming from Tanah Rata you will see a colourful Hindu temple at the right side. You will notice that Brinchang has a steep gradient, it's not at all flat like Tanah Rata. It is also smaller and it is quite difficult to get a good parking place. The town is filled with colourful buildings, some evidently trying to emulate Tudor designs commonly seen in English architecture. There are a lot of shops, where you can buy all kind of goods and sundry - groceries, handicrafts, food (mostly of Chinese delicacies).
The central square is actually a parking lot (look at the picture above).
Brinchang emanates a big town atmosphere commonly witnessed in lowland urban areas of Peninsula Malaysia. It is decidedly crowded with people, cramped with queuing cars and trucks going up to Sungai Palas Boh Tea Estate, Kea's Farm or Boh Tea Plantation, or going down to Tanah Rata.

Brinchang hosts a decent selection of hotels, motels and inns, although most are of average or below-average in term of highland resort experience due to their close proximity to the busy town centre.

The night market which is open every Saturday night features all kinds of vegetables, flowers, fruits and other products of the highlands. This place can get really crowded during the weekends and holiday season. Parking can be a headache during this time.

Beyond Brinchang, the road leads to all the way to Blue Valley. Most of the tourist spots are located around Kea Farm. This is where you will find the markets, vegetable farms, flower gardens and butterfly gardens. The road is also going to the Sungai Palas tea plantation from here. You have to take small road at the left side.

Kampung Raja is the last town of the Cameron Highlands. Since the opening of the Simpang Pulai road, this town has become the gateway to the highlands from the north. From here, you can head out of the highlands to Ipoh or Gua Musang in Kelantan.

The most popular sights are the area's tea plantations and strawberry farms, its lovely rose gardens and waterfalls, and the busy market square at Brinchang. In this town of Brinchang you can also find colonial Tudor Inns, rose gardens, handicraft stores and a Buddhist temple. Other relaxing activity's in the Cameron Highlands are: touring, dining, tracking, golfing and shopping.

Cameron Highland hotels around ranging from good to poor. A very good hotel is the Equatorial, just outside Brinchang.
Overlooking the main square at the northern end is the Jasmine Holiday Apartments. An attractively furnished flat with cooking facilities, barbecue and rooftop garden.  Another notable hotel is the Rosa Passadena, nestled in a newly develop area at the west end of Brinchang. It has basement parking available.
Some other recommended accommodations in Brinchang includes Country Lodge, Parkland Hotel, Rainbow Hotel.
